While Blakeford at Green Hills is not a faith-based community, we value the importance of the spiritual needs of residents, their families, and our team members. In fact, when developing our Six Dimensions of WellLife we knew it was imperative to include a spiritual dimension as part of addressing the whole person. At Blakeford, we call this dimension INSPIRE. In 2015, Chaplain Sherry Perry joined the Blakeford team. We sat down to ask her what it means to be spiritual and how spiritual needs can be addressed with the aid of an on-staff chaplain.
