At Burton Court at Blakeford Memory Care, residents will be engaged in programs specially developed to meet each individual’s social, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. A variety of group and individual programs are available to connect the resident with their neighbors and their own hobbies and interest in new ways.
A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or another related memory disorder does not mean that an individual cannot continue to find joy and purpose in life. With the right support, a person can continue to engage in interests and hobbies while also finding new ventures in life.
Burton Court at Blakeford Memory Care is designed to encourage independence and movement while providing a secure space to pursue a variety of interests. Residents are provided quality, dignified care by specially trained care staff and encouraged to stay active through individualized programs designed to meet each person where they are in their journey. Our program features:
- Programs offered 7 days a week
- Interactive Sensory Art
- Themed Activity Boxes for Resident, Staff, and Guest Use
- Personalized Reminiscing Boxes Outside Each Apartment
- The Apollo Project: Research-Based Poetry Program
- Music and Memories
- Adaptive Programs
